A good experience highlighted by really good cleanliness and comfortable beds. The attention to detail in room decor adds a touch of elegance, complemented by a thoughtful supply of organic fruits at breakfast. There were minor distractions related to the musty odor in communal areas and the breakfast presentation, which could benefit from an upgrade. Despite these issues, the overall charm and warmth of the accommodations ensure a nice stay.

The location was magnificent and beautiful for restaurants and great restaurants. The hotel was a handy base for enjoying a local area. The room I had was well-equipped and beautifully presented with view over newly remodelled garden and the staff was excellent.

A couple of quirks tarnished the experience. The communal areas had a noticeable musty odor, and a lingering smell of cigarette smoke was disappointing, seeing it's an outdated issue in hospitality. The breakfast presentation left some room for improvement. Items like cartons of milk were just placed on the table instead of being served more attractively. There was no variety in milk options, and the absence of toiletries apart from body wash was a letdown.

Havisham House feels like a cozy retreat. The beautifully decorated rooms compliment the warm atmosphere. I loved waking up in the spacious Beautiful Double Room with a lovely view over the garden. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was generous, with a good selection including fruit, yogurt, and eggs on toast. The tea/coffee station was fantastic, with an espresso maker and tasty biscuits. Adam, the owner. Minor improvements could be made in the presentation of breakfast items, but it didn't take away from our enjoyment. It was a bit chilly , but the room was warm and inviting. Havisham House is lovely, and I would return without hesitation.

We had a wonderful time with the lovely room and the beautiful garden that was perfect for morning coffee. Relaxing on the patio and enjoying the quiet vibe made our stay exceptional. Just a small note, the breakfast could use a bit of a touch-up for presentation, but it didn't take away from our experience! ☕
